Privacy Statement

Special Issue Proposals Policy

Special Issues are an important component of International Journal of Humanities and Social Development   Research. We deal with more focused topics with high current interest falling within the scope of the journal. Special Issue articles should fulfill all the normal requirements of any individual IJHSDR article, and should be of relevance to a wide international and multidisciplinary readership. Special Issues are intended to showcase work of the highest academic standard on a particular theme or topic.

Our journal welcomes to publish focused, coherent thematic volumes that will be widely used by all the scientific community, indexed in prestigious international databases, and of the highest academic quality. The Editor-in-Chief welcomes proposals for Special Issues that are within the topics/scope of the journal.

 

Proposal of Regular Special Issue

The scientists interested to propose a Special Issue should send to International Journal of Humanities and Social Development Research   a proposal request document.

Such document should contain the following information:


1- Title of the Special Issue;
2- Topics to be included in the Special Issue;
3- Curriculum vitae of Guest Editor-in-Chief with the publications of the last 10 years that can demonstrate his/her specialization and his/her experience on the topics proposed in the Special Issue;
4- Names and curriculum vitae of each guest editors (with the publications of the last 10 years).
5- A proposed time schedule that includes the date of the first submission and a submission deadlines for all manuscripts.

Process:

1- After received the Proposal request document, the Editorial Manager  of the Journal  evaluate the proposal. If accepted the Editor reserve the right to request for some modifications to the original proposal.
2- All papers will be submitted through IJHSDR email address. Manuscripts should follow the Journal template and should be full, regular research papers.
3- All papers will be evaluated by two member of the Editorial board and/or reviewers of the Journal and by one Guest Editorial board member.
4- The evaluations of papers, as well as the procedure to follow for publication, will be communicated directly to the authors and forwarded to the Guest Editors.

5-Manuscripts submitted to Special Issues  undergo the standard peer review process administered by the journal Editorial Office and overseen by the Editor(s)-in-Chief.

6-All final decisions regarding acceptance or rejection are the responsibility of academic editors (usually the Editor-in-Chief or the Guest Editor of a Special Issue) of the journal.

7-Guest Editors are appointed following consultation with the Editor(s)-in-Chief of the journal. The  Guest Editor must disclose any Conflict of Interests for manuscripts submitted to their Special Issues.
8- The authors should pay the regular fees previewed for  publication on the Journal.
9- The Guest Editors will not pay anything and each of them will receive a free e-journal version of the Special Issue.

In order to publish a Special Issue there should be at least 10 accepted and publishable papers, otherwise the Special Issue will be converted in a Special Section hosted in a regular issue of the Journal.

Process:

1- After received the Proposal request document, the Editorial Manager of the Journal will evaluate the proposal. If accepted the Editors reserve the right to request for some modifications to the original proposal.
2- The Guest Editors will receive the formal prices for publishing the Special Issue.
3- After received the payment previewed for the Special Issue, the Guest Editors will receive the logo to be used to sponsor the Special issue.
4- All papers will be submitted through IJHSDR email address. Manuscripts should follow the Journal template and should be full, regular’s research papers.
5- Manuscripts submitted to Special Issues  undergo the standard peer review process administered by the journal Editorial Office and overseen by the Editor(s)-in-Chief.
5- All papers will be evaluated with the regular evaluation procedure of the Journal by the Editorial board and/or reviewers of the Journal.
6- The evaluations of papers, as well as the procedure to follow for the publication, will be communicated directly to the authors by means of the online submission system and forwarded to the Guest Editors
7- All final decisions regarding acceptance or rejection are the responsibility of academic editors (usually the Editor-in-Chief/Editorial Board Member of a journal or the Guest Editor of a Special Issue) of the journal.
8-Guest Editors are appointed following consultation with the Editor(s)-in-Chief of the journal. The  Guest Editor must disclose any Conflict of Interests for manuscripts submitted to their Special Issues.
9-The Conference Organizers should pay, for each accepted papers, the regular fees previewed for the publication on the Journal.
10- The Guest Editors will not pay anything and each of them will receive a free e-journal version of the Special Issue.
